Ryan Craney is a Research Assistant at Digital Architecture Research & Technologies (DART) at the Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning (University of Michigan). He holds a Masters of Science in Architectural Design & Research with a concentration in Digital and Material Technologies from the University of Michigan, and is a licensed architect in the state of Oregon.
His research is situated at the intersection of computational design and advanced manufacturing. His current projects focus on applications for large-scale robotic thermoplastic 3D printing methods in the architectural and construction industries.
