Christopher Voltl

I am a doctoral candidate and researcher with Digital Architecture Research & Technologies (DART) at Taubman College, University of Michigan. My research expertise lies at the intersection of robotic additive manufacturing and computational design. Specifically, I specialize in data-driven spatial 3D printing and advanced toolpath generation methodologies tailored for cellular structures within architectural applications.

The focal point of my research endeavors is to mitigate material wastage through the implementation of optimized material processes, thereby enhancing material utilization efficiency by directing resources exclusively where necessary.”
