Alireza Bayramvand

M.S. DMT, B. Arch

I am an architectural, computational designer, and researcher at DART Laboratory. Holding a Bachelor’s in Architectural Engineering and a Master’s in Digital and Material Technologies from the University of Michigan, I bring over seven years of experience in seamlessly integrating computational advancements and cutting-edge robotic fabrication methods to deliver optimized and sustainable solutions for the built environment. Over the past three years, my focus has been on developing geometrically optimized design workflows and utilizing robotic 3D concrete and thermoplastic printing technologies to fabricate building elements such as columns, slabs, walls, and more, while minimizing material usage.

WHAT I DO WHEN I AM NOT WORKING WITH ROBOTS…
Meal prep! Actually, I cook twice a month. I prepare all the meals at once and enjoy them for the next two weeks. In my free time, I prefer to play with Mia. If you want to learn more about her, go read Juliette Zidek’s bio!
