Jasper Meibodi

I’m the lab’s Treat Enforcement Agent (TEA), which basically means I keep a very close eye (and nose) on anything edible that enters the room. I’m always quietly collecting important information—like who brought snacks, where the bag is sitting, and how long it’s been since anyone looked in my direction—so I can make smart decisions about the perfect moment to investigate. If a lab member steps away from their backpack “for just a second,” I’m already running my plan: a casual stroll, a quick sniff, and a highly professional assessment of whether those treats need immediate quality control. I take my job seriously, but I do it with charm, patience, and just enough puppy innocence to convince everyone it was a team decision.

What I do when I am not working with robots…

Outside of robotics and research activities, I spend time outdoors running, exploring, and playing.
When I am not active outside, I rest indoors and recharge in a comfortable space, enjoying quiet time on soft French pillows and taking the opportunity to sleep and recover.
